Kaiser Aluminum CEO Gets $987,000 Bonus In 2000

WASHINGTON (Dow Jones)--Kaiser Aluminum Corp. (KLU, news, msgs) President and Chief Executive Raymond J. Milchovich received a $987,336 bonus in 2000, according to a definitive proxy statement filed Monday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Milchovich has held the post of chief executive at Kaiser since January 2000. His 2000 salary was $630,000.
Kaiser's former chief executive, George T. Haymaker Jr., received a bonus of $184,070 in 1999 and a salary of $569,000, according to last year's proxy.
As president in 1999, Milchovich was given a $174,144 bonus on top of a salary of $518,502.
Kaiser will hold its annual meeting on May 23, with a record date of March 30.
Houston-based Kaiser produces and supplies aluminum products used in the automotive, aircraft, defense and manufacturing industries. Kaiser's market cap is about $277 million.
