Kaiser Aluminum raises prices on flat rolled products

NEW YORK, Sept 14 (Reuters) - Kaiser Aluminum Corp's (NYSE:KLU - news) Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corp. subsidiary said Thursday it raised prices by 5 percent on 2000- and 7000-series flat-rolled plate products.

The increase becomes effective with all new orders placed on or after Thursday, and with all shipments on or after Nov. 6 regardless of entry date.

All existing contract prices will be honoured, the company said.
