Kaiser Aluminum ups prices on flat rolled products

NEW YORK, April 19 (Reuters) - Kaiser Aluminum Corp. (NYSE:KLU - news) said it raised prices by 5 percent on 2000- and 7000-series flat-rolled plate products.

The increase applies to all transactions not covered by a firm contract price, the company said.

Prices are effective with new orders made on or after April 18 and with all shipments on or after June 1, regardless of order entry date.
