Striking employees of Valley Manufactures Housing in Sunnyside

gained support of the Western Council of Industrial Workers for a march through Sunnyside on Saturday, April 8. Three Bus loads of Steelworkers and their families returning from Olympia joined the Western Council of Industrial Workers Local 2739 in their day of marching and rallying through the streets of Sunnyside. The day was concluded with a bar-b-que and guest speakers. USWA President Dan Russell spoke to the crowd and presented a monitary donation to these striking workers food bank.
