The night before the parade Spokane County Sheriff heard of the Steelworkers participation and
attempted to have us with held from marching, apparently because of the large number of Scabs
that also live in the community. Parade organizers refused the Sheriffs request, also refusing to
limit the number of Steelworkers that would march per the Sheriff's request.
